Marinate pork neck fillet for 3 hours; pan-fry both sides of the fillet until it goldens.
-
Place the fried pork neck fillet into the rice cooker for each of its sides to cook for about 5 minutes until it is thoroughly done.
-
Pour in the remaining marinade onto the fillet, let it cook for about 2 minutes, and it is ready to serve.
-
Tips:
Puncture the raw pork neck with a fork before marinating helps it to pick up flavours. Note that rice cookers differ in cooking temperature hence cooking time for the dish varies accordingly.

Dietician’s Advice:
This is a simple dish with no mention of cooking oil in the recipe making it most suitable for busy city lives. It can be shared among a number of people, as well as that it can be for one person, by dividing the fillet into 6 portions for storage in the freezer. Enjoy it with vegetables, tofu or noodles.
